Mekinje Monastery
Accommodation and the talks and courses will be in the 700 year old Mekinje Monastery which is on the outskirts of the medieval Slovenian town Kamnik which has been fully renovated.
The cost of accommodation which includes breakfast is not expensive and is cheaper if sharing with another person and even cheaper is there is more in your group. Prices start at around 25€ per person per night to 50€ per person per night. Depending if you are in double, triple, quadruple rooms.

Pod Skalo
Pod Skalo is a very friendly family run B&B, 15 minutes’ walk to the Monastery. Prices for Pod Skalo are from 30€ per person per night to 60€, depending on room and number of
people sleeping in the room. They also offer Apartments for more people. (Approximate price is 100€ for 4 people).

Gostilna Repnik
The Repnik Inn is about 30 minutes’ walk from the Mekinje Monastery and is well known in the region and has been popular since the mid-twentieth century, ever since its grand opening in 1964. Back then they served homely meals to coachmen and rare travellers. Since then,
clients have changed dramatically, unlike their recipes – they have stayed homely and true to tradition, with an added modern aftertaste. It is more expensive that the previous two accommodations, but this is a very comfortable option.

Slovenia Eco Resort
This resort is only 30 minutes’ walk or 10 minutes cycle ride away. The wooden glamping huts are suitable for two people. They are spacious with large windows, offering a gorgeous view of the Alps and surrounding countryside.
Outside the hut, you can relax on green areas in the company of deer. All huts are equipped with
electricity, they are not air conditioned and are heated in colder months. On site there is a sauna and swimming pool.
